A Glimpse of Baguio | Location and Topography

SAGADA: The town of Sagada is a very wholesome tourist destination. It is a real escape from city of life-a place where you can relax, sleep, eat, hike or do nothing in particular. Sagada is known for its burial caves with hanging coffins, which are placed precariously on the ledges of limestone outcrops, you should reach the ledge where the coffins are visible. Exploring Latipan Cave is one of the best adventures you can ever have. Aside from entering the cave’s mouth to the darkness beyond, you will see grotesque, dramatic limestone formations which were shaped by nature over millions of years. You will experience wading through cold, ankle ?deep and knee-deep waters. Another Feature of Sagada is Small Waterfalls. The falls are only about ten feet high, the water dropping to a deep basin where you could swim and even dive. Fedilisan Falls also is a huge and impressive, and has a wide pool.

Mt. Pulag

MT. PULAG is found in the town of Kabayan in the province of Benguet. 2, 929 meters above sea level, making it the second highest mountain in the Philippines and the highest on the island of Luzon. This unique mountain ecosystem covers 11,550 hectares. You can trek through lush forest, find solitude in the grassland, experience ancient mountain culture or encounterrare plants and animals, including the world’s largest rat (The giant cloud rat) and the smallest bamboo (the dwarf bamboo).

BANAUE The Terraces

The town is officially called the Municipality of Banaue. And we here at home all call it Bannawor; Banaue is one of the 11 towns of the province of Ifugao, located at the heart of Philippines’ main Island, Luzon. Banaue is 348 kms. North of Manila and 333kms north of Baguio City. Banaue is sitting at the foot of Mt. Amuyao and occupies 21,807 ha. Climate is usually cold. And the rain can get heavy and choose to stay longer than anyone would like.

Batad

Batad Village on the other hand offers a pleasant stroll inside its temperate forest. A two hour schedule should take you to the forest; the best rice terraces and a big waterfall at one go.

Epic Mt.Bike Rides

Mt Biking is more than just that - riding a bike on the mountain. Mt biking is a spiritual experience. I know of only a few other tasks that requirethe deep and intense concentration that riding my bike requires at times. You see, an EPIC RIDE can be as simple as an Urban Assault to the grocery store or as complex as a full on road trip . So long as the experience was Epic, then you’ve just experienced a truly EPIC RIDE!

Mountain Hiking/Climbing

Mountaineering is the sport or hobby or profession of walking, hiking and climbing up mountains. Requires great gymnastic and technical ability, but experience is also very important part of the latter. A must to experience.!!!!

Off Road Bike Tours

These trips follow dirt roads, paths, trails and single-track. Routes may be smooth, gritty, stony, packed, and will rise and fall over undulating, hilly and mountainous terrain. On most trips, the tracks will be vehicle-width, but some will include a high proportion of single track, on narrow trails. It is a good idea to have some off-road cycling experience before starting your trip, but you don't have to be an expert to try the harder routes, and these are often good trips if you want to develop your skills. There are usually limited tarmac sections on most off-road trips. PURELY INSANE TOTALLY AWESOME THE ULTIMATE SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE WILDMAN!!!!!
